EP
In April I recorded six songs which will make up the 'One Day All This Will Work Out...' EP that I will be self-releasing on the 6th October 2008. I have recorded and sound engineered all the songs which were recorded at my friends houses, a Baptist Church and in my bedroom. Dave Clarke has been mixing the songs for me and we hope to have them finished and mastered as soon as humanly possible. My girlfriend and I are doing all the artwork for the EP, which will be a limited run of 1000 copies.
The EP will be available from various independent record shops in the UK and possibly in the US. You will also be able to purchase the record directly from me via PayPal and at gigs. I have yet to sort out a deal for whether or not the MP3's will be available on iTunes the week of release. However, even if they aren't available that week, they will be soon after. I have amassed a lot of video footage which from which I am creating a "Making of..." style documentary which I hope to be completed in a few weeks. It'll be on YouTube an the like.Touring
I am arranging as many dates as I humanly can at present so there will be as much of a touring schedule as I can manage without bankrupting myself. Bar Music Hall in London is a free solo show I'm doing next Wednesday (23rd July) so I'd get yourself down to that. All details on MySpace. I will play for anyone, anywhere, anytime within reason so if you would like to book me, or know of people who might, then please email me at: loyaltrooper(at)gmail(dot)com
Album
I am starting to work on the recording of my debut album which I will release myself unless I receive an offer which allows me total control over everything I do as I have right now. The demos of these recordings I will make available for free download and also I'll make some demo CD's to give away at shows. I plan to release the album early next year, hopefully in January or early February. However, I won't rush this process if I'm not happy with the finished record so this may change as I'm growing ever precious about my recordings.
2000 Trees

I played a couple of songs at the festival over the weekend so a huge thank you to everyone who enjoyed my stuff and came up to me to say 'hi'. It's a really great festival: run by awesome people, makes a considerable effort to be as green as possible and has a really good vibe to it. Also, if there's a better way to spend your Friday mornings that drinking 7% cider watching Tubelord then I'll eat my own face. You can help me play properly next year by emailing in and asking for Loyal Trooper to be on next years full line up here: info@twothousandtreesfestival.co.uk
